As we face up to the headwinds of 2025, we can look back on a very positive year in 2024, during which our team supported more than 700 companies that make up the economic fabric of our region, from convenience stores to manufacturing, from urban agricultural production to green roofs.

Mission
PME MTL Centre-Ouest, one of the six service hubs of the réseau PME MTL, has a mission to promote the socio-economic development of the territory by supporting businesses in an integrated, concerted and sustainable way. By supporting entrepreneurs and stimulating a dynamic ecosystem, the organization contributes to the economic vitality of the Centre-Ouest region.

Local development
Contest: Je relève le défi vert
With the support of Desjardins and in collaboration with
Ville en Vert, VertCité and the boroughs of Ahuntsic-Cartierville and Saint-Laurent, the Je relève le défi vert contest was designed to encourage concrete sustainability initiatives. More than 40 businesses responded to the call to implement socio-ecological transition initiatives.

Commercial vitality index
In collaboration with the Ville de Montréal's Economic Development Department, PME MTL Centre-Ouest has developed a commercial vitality index. This tool gathers and analyzes key data such as commercial mix and concentration, the business turnover rate, the vacancy rate and accessibility.

Innovation support
A stronger role in innovation
In 2024, PME MTL Centre-Ouest took on a key role in supporting innovation by being mandated to manage the innovation department of Réseau PME MTL. This coincided with the formalization of a strategic partnership between PME MTL and the Quebec Innovation Council. This strategic mandate has resulted in enhanced support for innovative companies.

Bio-food
With a territory rich in promising food projects, PME MTL Centre-Ouest is actively committed to supporting companies in this industry. 81 companies supported with over 180 interventions. Our bio-food experts brilliantly represented PME MTL Centre-Ouest at the prestigious Salon international de l'Alimentation (SIAL), a not-to-be-missed event for the industry. Their presence helped support 9 companies selected for their strong innovation and marketing potential.

eLog
Since 2022, the eLog service has been supporting Quebec companies in optimizing their e-commerce logistics, thanks to support from the Offensive de transformation numérique (OTN) of the Ministère de l'Économie, de l'Innovation et de l'Énergie.
